That night, Helen insisted Amelia sleep beside her. Sensing something was off, Amelia softly asked, "What's wrong?"
Helen shook her head. "Nothing, I just missed you."
"Is work too stressful?"
"Not really, just a little," Helen replied.
"Then, what's the matter?"
"It's nothing." Helen hugged Amelia's waist tightly, unwilling to say more.
After a moment of silence, Amelia asked, "Is it a relationship problem?"
Helen opened her mouth to deny it, but the words caught in her throat.
Amelia continued, "What's so hard that you can't tell me? You're my daughter; I know you better than anyone. There's no one else here, just us.
