"Why are you staring at me?" Samuel, who had his eyes closed, suddenly spoke up, startling Shelmaine. She quickly looked away. Caught off guard, she quickly said, "I wasn't." Samuel smiled but didn't say anything. That afternoon, Julien came by. Shelmaine had no idea how he found the hospital. More importantly, Samuel was around as well. Julien knocked on the door and entered the ward. When he saw Samuel, he was surprised but quickly composed himself. Meanwhile, Samuel frowned. It was clear that he wasn't expecting Julien to show up. Shelmaine's heart started racing. Instinctively, she gripped the bedsheet. However, before she could say anything, Samuel asked, "Should I step out to avoid any misunderstandings?" "It will be great if you can do that," Julien answered frankly, though he was smiling. Shelmaine's mind went blank. She licked her lips, not knowing what to say. Samuel remained still and said, "I can't do that." Julien chuckled before turning to Shelmaine. "How ar
