Samuel called Shelmaine, but she had no intention of answering. She rejected the call, only for him to dial again. After several repeats, she picked up, irritation clear in her voice. "What do you want?"
He said, "Can you let me in? It's raining, and my phone's about to die."
"Die outside for all I care."
He was shocked.

"Are you insane?"
"Probably."

"Have you lost your mind?"
