Saturday arrived, and Nia found herself standing outside MoMA PS1, nervously adjusting her shirt and checking her phone. She'd arrived early, unable to contain her excitement and anxiety.
As she waited for Helia, she couldn't help but marvel at how quickly things had changed. Just a week ago, she'd been focusing solely on keeping her head down and staying unnoticed. Now here she was, about to spend an afternoon at an art museum with a new friend.
Helia arrived right on time, waving enthusiastically as she approached. "Nia! I'm so glad you're here. I was worried I might have gotten the time wrong."
Nia smiled, feeling her nervousness start to dissipate. "Nope, you're right on time. Shall we head in?"
