"Ooh, I know!" Laura exclaimed, reaching for her phone. "There's this adorable little town I've been wanting to visit. It's got art galleries, antique shops, and the cutest cafes. We could make a day of it."
Evan nodded enthusiastically. "That sounds perfect. We could do the hike one weekend and the town visit the next. Best of both worlds."
Nia smiled, feeling a surge of affection for her friends. "I love how you two balance each other out. But what about something we could all learn together?"
Laura's eyes lit up. "What about a cooking class? I saw a flyer at the community center for a series of international cuisine workshops."
"Oh man, that would be amazing," Evan groaned, clutching his stomach dramatically. "My culinary skills are limited to microwaving leftovers and burning toast."
Nia laughed, picturing Evan in a chef's hat. "I'm not much better, to be honest. But it could be fun to learn together. And think of all the delicious mistakes we could make!"
