Chapter 12
Perhaps Leo didn't mean to belittle her, but its meaning changed as soon as it reached her ears. She hated that she couldn't find a place to sew in, so she walked away with her clothes wrapped in her body.
Leo looked at the figure disappearing at the door with a smile in his eyes, not only like a small daisy, but also a small antique.
Tara ran directly to the room that Leo arranged for her. She locked the door and threw herself on the bed, covering her face with a quilt and cried.
Thinking of just now, Tara had a nausea when she thought of it, got up and ran to the bathroom inside the house. She turned on the faucet and rinsed her mouth continuously. The cold water mixed with tears popped into the pool. She looked at the woman with red lips in the mirror but turned her eyes away disgustingly.
What is the difference between her and Zion now?
Although she is going to get a divorce, technically she is not divorced yet after all. Now she has committed herself to the man since he will not let her go. Is it selfishness?
Tara asked herself, but she didn't dare to face it.
She wanted Leo to take back what belonged to her, and wanted him to help her win the lawsuit.
And what the other party wants is just her body.
Tara undoubtedly scanned the dark red area on her face, where the color of the potion still remained. She was slightly startled, thinking of the way he had treated the wound for her with a low and pleasing eyebrows.
Tara shook her head quickly, not allowing herself to be immersed in fantasy.
"Bang Bang Bang"
The knock on the door interrupted her random thoughts, and it goes without saying that she knew who was outside the door.
She wiped her face clean, walked over to open the door, and Leo's somewhat unhappy handsome face caught her eyes, "Why did you lock the door?"
Tara pursed her lips, "I am going to sleep."
The man smiled evilly, implying anger, "Who told you that we will sleep in separate beds?"
Tara was stunned. Is it possible that he wants to sleep with her?
She looked back and found out that this bedroom seemed to be the master bedroom...
When she was distracted, Leo had already pushed the door and squeezed in. After closing the door with his backhand, he directly picked up Tara and pressed her on the bed, "Testing my patience? Bad idea."
Tara met his gaze, and the playfulness had faded away, leaving only an incomprehensible darkness. She swallowed, and just as she was about to make an excuse, the phone on the bedside suddenly vibrated.
Tara breathed a sigh of relief, "I, I will answer the call first."
Leo didn't stop and didn't let go of her. He took the phone with his long arm. After seeing the caller ID on the screen, he raised his eyebrows slightly, and put it next to her ear.
"Tara, you can do it. You didn't go home for a few days, and you took away your credentials. You fucking want to go against me, don't you?", Zion's irritable voice came from the microphone.
The ruddiness on Tara's face was replaced by paleness, "I don't have time to listen to your nonsense."
"Heh, Tara, I think you have forgotten who you are. I'm telling you, you are my legal wife and as long as you haven't got divorced yet, I have the right to ask you to come home! On the side, Leo said, "Don't talk about going home. I'm on you, and you have to lie down for me."
Tara swallowed and said, "Zion, I let you go so let go of me."
After saying this, Zion didn't yell at her, but Leo, who covered her severely, pinched her. Tara didn't have any defense, whispered, and hit the man's unpleasant gaze to make him understand.
She... didn't mean that.
Before Tara could speak, Zion suddenly became anxious, "Tara, who are you fooling around with?"
She was caught off guard by Zion. Late at night, when he heard such ambiguous movements from Tara, the man who couldn't bear it was Zion.
"Does it matter where I am? Zion, don't give too much importance on yourself. When I go back, it will be the day you signed the divorce agreement."
On the other side of the phone, Zion was still clamoring, but Tara couldn't listen. Even if she hung up, she knew that Zion would not give up easily, so she simply shut down the phone.
Although pretending to be strong and indifferent, after hanging up the phone, Tara still couldn't help feeling a moment of emptiness. After all, she could not just let go the man she had loved for so many years. But now she's with another man. The man she's with is looking at her with full of ridiculous eyes.
Leo could see her incomparably depressed appearance. Thinking of the phone call without saying much, he directly lifted Tara's shirt and leaned in.
Tara was in a bad mood, didn't want to do it at all, and pushed him reluctantly, "I don't want to do it..."
Hearing this, Leo's face became darker, pulling away the belt of the nightgown around her waist, tied her hands to the head of the bed, and looked down at the woman's horrified gaze without a trace of pity, "Tara, who do you think you are? You have no right to refuse me!"
After all, the clothes on her body have been turned into fragments in the man's palm.
Tara was shocked and kick her legs restlessly, "Don't! Leo, I'm not feeling well..."
Her physical strength simply couldn't bear his unrestrained demands.
But Leo thought she was saying it because she felt uncomfortable on the phone, so he was even angrier. "Then we can solve it in other ways."
