53 Car Accident

Lana pulled Mark’s hand away, took a deep breath, and said,  "I know you're angry, but it wasn't me."  She tried to convince him but she could see the anger in his body, the flames in his eyes. It was like Mark needed someone to vent it on, he wanted to believe she wasn’t the one that reported him to his mom but he wasn’t seeing any reason to. Lana tried calming him down but she felt so stupid knowing that no matter what she did, he wasn’t going to listen to her. Mark said, "We need to ensure this doesn't happen again. Over the next few days, I'll allocate two hours each day to address company matters that require my attention. I don't want to create any more problems, and I hope you won't either."  Stepping back, she lowered her head and focused on the ground, saying,  "I got it.
