Seated at the dining table for breakfast, Chloe murmured, "Two days... That’s quicker than I expected. Guess I’ll have to keep up the act for two more days." "Strawberry jam or blueberry jam?" Joseph asked. He was wearing navy blue loungewear. His hair, still damp from his shower, gave him a relaxed vibe. He looked like the friendly big brother next door. Chloe replied, "Strawberry, please." "Okie dokie.” Joseph meticulously spread the jam onto a slice of toast, then brought it to her mouth. Chloe took a small bite. As the jam’s sweet and tangy flavor filled her mouth, her heart was filled with happiness and contentment. Seeing her enjoyment, Joseph took all the bread and generously spread strawberry jam all over them. This left Jasper, who did not like strawberry jam, feeling speechless.
