Chapter 49 Rachel POV Waking up next to Gabriel completely and bonding with him gave me a new feeling. I could remember when I was still young, I would always look at him from across the window thinking of how handsome and hot he was and how his destined mate was lucky to have him. Though those feelings changed along the line because of the harsh treatment I got from him then. But right now looking at him lying peacefully on the bed, half-naked. "Damnit". " I never thought I would be that lucky girl". I took advantage of the time to peek around his thoughts, he wouldn't have much of a block when he woke up, and all his memories are freely opened to me while he was asleep. I skipped through things I didn't wish to see, but I was curious about his lifestyle before he knew I was his mate. "But I was surprised by what I saw". He had always loved me even before he knew I was his mate, he had always been jealous of how his parents doted on me, the way they describe their affection for
