"Perseus, what on Earth is this for?" Kent asked, even though Wyatt had scolded him repeatedly for questioning Perseus.
The scene was unsettling. It resembled how farmers slaughtered pigs, except for a crucial detail—the pot wasn't filled with water but with a steaming concoction.
"It's not that I doubt you. It's just that this setup with the pot and firewood is rather unnerving," Kent said.
