Chapter 1607
Ramona glared at Perseus, then followed his lead by reclining her seat and covering her eyes with her clothes. She initially couldn't fall asleep, as the distant bird calls kept startling her. Yet, the comforting sound of Perseus' snoring eventually lulled her to sleep.
Ramona woke up early in the morning, only to notice that Perseus was no longer in the passenger seat.
"Where did he go?" Ramona panicked, honking the horn twice. Yet, the only response was the flurry of birds taking off from the forest.
"Perseus! Perseus! Where are you? Per—"
"Alright, enough with the shouting!" Perseus snapped, his voice coming from the back of the car.
Ramona turned to look and found Perseus crouching under a tree with his pants off. He seemed to be relieving himself.
"Why can't you do it somewhere else? It stinks!" Ramona exclaimed as she turned her head away, her face flushing with embarrassment. She hadn't noticed it before, but Perseus had surprisingly fair skin.
