Alfred wasn't guarding the door anymore, and the house was awfully quiet. We both walked down the stairs. When we reached the last stairs, a loud surprise was being yelled. I took a step back, frightened. Giovanni's hands wrapped around my waist prevented me from any mishap. When I was able to get rid of the shock, I took in the appearance of the house. The room was filled with a lot of people. Some were my family members, and some I had no idea who they were. There were pink and blue flowers used to decorate the house. I noticed that the females were in pink gowns similar to mine, while the males were in blue suits, just like Giovanni. In the banner placed in front of the ceiling was an inscription that read, " Happy Baby Shower." A smile made its way to my face and I struggled not to cry. I didn't want to ruin the make-up that had taken so much time to do. "Welcome to your baby shower slash gender reveal party. We decided to throw a party for you to celebrate with us and everyone.
