39 The Kiss
After Travis's stern warning, Olivia went to her room, deep in thought. His words sank, making her second-guess her decisions. She knew that Travis meant every word he said. In this crossfire, she's the one losing. She had lost her essence of womanhood.
Olivia was frustrated, so she decided to call her father. As the phone rang, she anxiously awaited his voice on the other end.
"Daddy," Olivia began, sounding calm and hurt, "Travis confronted me today. He said my days in the house are numbered, and if I push too far, there will be consequences."
On the other end of the line, her father sighed. "Olivia, I warned you that this path wouldn't be easy. If Travis is becoming aware of your plans, you need to be more careful. Provoking them openly could backfire."
Olivia, confused by the situation, retorted, "But Daddy, they've caused me so much pain. I can't just sit back and let them ruin me and go Scout-free. I thought we had a plan."
