Steve was worried about the king’s words. He had known him for many years and not once had they disagreed on anything. When he got back home, he realized that there was no one, not even the maids. He looked around thinking that maybe there was one who was still there since they never took off days at the same time and so one or two of them was supposed to be around when the other was away. Upon opening the kitchen door, he found blood on the floor and a note on the side.
