We got up as well. I gave an encouraging smile to my friend. She was wringing her hands together. Worry was clearly written over her face.       "Why did I agree to bring you with me?" He snorted.       "Because, I'm Beta's daughter." She turned to Sisily and took her in an embrace. "My mother is gonna love you."      "Really?" Sisily asked with big eyes.       "See it yourself." Pulling back, she turned to face Jace. "Bring your mate home, brother."       "Next weekend. Promise." Jace's gaze swiped over Everly's face and deterred over his mate.       Whatever he said in her head, she blushed and cast her head low shyly.       "Another human," Luke rolled his eyes and turned to the door. Horror clung to his face as he froze on his feet, staring ahead without blinking.        His eyes narrowed on Luke as he gave him a hard stare.        Luke bowed his head. I never saw him scared.
