Dominic’s Pov Following the bald man closely, we had just arrived at a clearing in the woods in Maple Dome that I didn't even realise existed in these woods all through my patrol days. Concealed with thick undergrowth and ancient trees, the area was tranquil, save for the two men standing on the porch of the large cabin, engaged in a little chat. Thanks to my keen hearing, straining to hear them wasn't much effort. “Find it anywhere. Those woods you sent me to were creepy.” The muscular, long blonde hair shot back. “You were only careless. We don’t want to end up dropping clues that would make it easy for us to be found. I hope you have some peculiarly interesting excuse to tell Gaius once he arrives.” Together, they walked into the cabin, and the name turned on a bulb somewhere in my mind, although I couldn't remember where. I didn't realise I had communicated with Minerva telepathically, too, until her voice crept through my mind. "I know that name too. I just…Meredith!"
