I watched with bated breath as Dominic dropped down to his knees beside the skeletal remains. "Are we supposed to do anything before he touches that?" I whispered anxiously to Meredith. "No, it's completely safe."
I was starting to nod when she added, "I guess." "Meredith..." "Don't worry, it's okay." He reassured himself, his hand stretching towards the filthy satchel wedged under the skell.
Gently, he pried it out and stood up. We all moved back a few feet before he squatted down and promptly turned the bag over. A black beaded bracelet was the first item to fall out, followed closely by a small crystal, which I assumed was a necklace because of the brown rope attached.
