****FLASHBACK CONTINUES.
After some time, they reached her father's mansion. The driver helped her with her luggage and then left.
Eleanor stared at the door with a heavy heart. She knew she wasn't welcome in the house, but she had no choice. She had no friends to go to, and every hotel around knew Levi.
And everyone will recognize her as his wife, which would be unbearable to her. She walked towards the door, counting her steps.
She pressed the doorbell, and she waited for some time before a maid came out.
“Miss Eleanor!” The maid gasped in surprise. “How have you been?” She said, trying to hide her embarrassed face.
“Come in, ma'am, it's raining,” the maid helped her in. She entered the familiar living room that was filled with her memories as a child, but she wasn't thrilled; she even felt more down.
“I will go and notify the boss. Dry yourself up with this,” the maid said, handing her a white towel.
