Chapter 115: Let's Talk about the Lawsuit
The door creaked open, and Charles Whitmore, the lawyer Rocco had been waiting for, walked in. Charles was tall and slender, dressed in a sharp suit, and carried a black briefcase.
"It's about time," Rocco said, his voice trembling; he had been having this bad feeling he couldn't decipher ever since he had woken up. He didn't have a hangover, but why does his head still hurt? Just the thought of it made him lift his hands on his head as he writhed in pain.
"Are you okay?" Charles asked, looking concerned. He was still standing, but he gazed at Rocco, who looked as though he had caught a cold.
"Yeah, I am fine," Rocco said bluntly; he didn't want to get personal with his lawyer. "Please sit," he said politely, with his hand pointed to the comfy brown couch.
“Oh, thank you, Mr. Rocco,” Charles greeted him, shaking his hand before he went over to the brown couch to sit. “Let’s get straight to the point. You mentioned a lawsuit involving Levi and Veris?”
