I froze in shock as Shawn's lips crashed into mine, his hands gripping my waist tightly. For a moment, I was too stunned to react, but then my anger kicked in, and I shoved him away with all my strength.
"How dare you!" I spat, my hand flying up to slap him across the face. The sound of the impact echoed through the parking lot, and Shawn's head snapped to the side.
"You son of a bitch! You have no right to kiss me, to touch me!"
Shawn rubbed his cheek, a red mark already forming where my hand had made contact. "You can throw all the insults and slaps you want, Camilla, but it won't change a thing. I'm not signing those papers."
"Oh, you will," I retorted, taking a step closer to him. "We're getting a divorce, Shawn. This marriage is over."
