Chapter 186 The Bait
Diana Harrison was hyperventilating when Chass Darwin told her the plan. She had already lost her leg to whoever that psycho was; she wasn't ready to lose any other part of her body.
“You don't have to be scared,” Chase was saying to her.
Diana regarded him as if he had just spoken a foreign language.
“I shouldn't be scared? You want me to go and sit while waiting for someone to murder me,” Diana said.
Chase shrugged, “It’s not that deep. We’ll secretly be there to protect you.”
“What if something happens and you don't see the psycho coming, then what?” Diana asked.
“That’s impossible because the streets are going to be flooded with our cameras and we'll be able to see everything,” Chase answered.
“I don't want to die, Mr. Chase. I know I'm a horrible person but please I don't want to die,” Diana pleaded.
Chase nodded, “You aren't going to die, Diana. I'll see that nothing happens to you.”
Diana nodded, “Alright, you've given me your word.”
