Chapter 94 – Lessons with Ghost

Mia walked out of the mansion into the gardens, ghost waiting for her as usual. He stood at attention once he sighted her. “Oh please knock it off. I'm not in the mood for all that Alfred the bodyguard shit from Batman” she said in Spanish and sat down on a bench. After a while, he said, “Actually, Alfred was a chauffeur, not a bodyguard” he said and stood beside her. “Well then, who was the bodyguard?” She asked, “Batman had no bodyguard. He was the bodyguard” Mia couldn't call him Batman, that was her name for Noah. “I see” she said, enjoying the beautiful afternoon atmosphere. “What's the plan for today, Ghost?” “Anything you wish, Jefa” “Hmm. Get ready Ghost, we leave in a few” “Si Jefa” And she went in to have a bath and get dressed. He held the door open for her and she got in. “Where to, Jefa?” He asked, “The Cafe” “Si” he said and started the car. Mia pulled her coat tighter around herself as she stepped out of the car, the chilly evening air brushing on her cheeks.
