118 Knocks on the Door
"Alright," Parker Fall said. "We'll go this afternoon."
At this point, Calantha felt the topic could end. "Okay, come find me this afternoon. I need to go shopping now."
Parker Fall nodded. "Okay, I'll have everything arranged."
After she left, Calantha didn't go shopping for clothes. Instead, she went straight home to talk to Paula about Parker Fall.
"Oh, I see. You mean an annoying woman is following you, and she might come to the house?" Paula asked.
Calantha said, "If I'm not home, don't open the door for anyone. Your mobility is limited now, and you could easily get hurt. And when I come back, I'll open the door myself; you don't need to do it for me."
"Okay, I understand," Paula said. "Are you still going out to buy clothes today?"
"No," Calantha said. "You don't need clothes right away; I'll go buy them another day. Right now, I have more important things to do."
Paula didn't want to disturb Viennel's work. "Alright, go ahead and do your thing. I'll watch some TV."
