At the ice cream shop and at my house,” George said, and I chuckled as the twins hummed at the same time. “A two on ten,” Emery finally said after what seemed like forever, and my eyes widened. “What?!” George and I exclaimed in unison, and the kids shrugged. “I was actually going to say one on ten.” Emerald worsened things with his words. “You both must be joking. We had fun!” I scolded, and Emery made funny faces. “Really?” she pouted. “Why is the rate that low?” George questioned.
