Trystan and Bethany stood stiffly, their expressions awkward.
George gave a light cough and joked, "What's wrong? One might think I was forcing you guys to consummate your marriage."
"Grandpa!" Trystan protested, his face turning a deep shade of red.
George beckoned them closer and whispered, "I want to go fishing."
"No!" Trystan vehemently rejected.
"All right, I shall just lie here and wait to die," George grumbled before lying back on his bed.
"Grandpa!" Trystan said exasperatedly, clearly frustrated by his grandfather's antics. However, George closed his eyes and ignored Trystan.
Trystan then turned to Bethany, pleading for her to intervene.
However, Bethany had a different view. "Is it really impossible? I think it would be a good idea for Grandpa to get some fresh air outside."
"It's almost winter right now. Don't you realize how cold it is outside?" Trystan snapped.
"We can always get Grandpa thicker clothes and protective heat pads."
