Kira was on cloud nine when she learned Giana was well enough to be discharged. She followed the doctor to his office to fetch Giana’s medication and volunteered to go downstairs to take care of the paperwork. She returned to the ward to find an intruder. ‘What are you doing here?’ The sight of Kayleigh’s agent immediately put Kira’s back up. She didn’t know the woman’s name, but she remembered seeing her arrogant face at the police station on Friday night. The woman wailed at the sight of Kayleigh’s slightly swollen face, turned a blind eye to Kira and Giana, whose injuries were much worse, and demanded the harshest penalties for ‘the two evildoers who so cruelly ambushed the innocent actress.’ Kira pushed past her and rushed over to Giana’s bedside. ‘Are you okay?’ ‘I’m fine.’ Giana patted her friend’s hand.
