‘You watch too much TV,’ Austyn cut his friend off mid-sentence.
Damian shrugged. ‘Then just forget I said anything.’
He poured himself a Scotch, sipped at it, and counted in his head.
Five seconds.
Ten seconds.
Fifteen seconds.
When he reached twenty-five, Austyn shot to his feet, heading straight for the door.
‘Where are you going?’ Damian shouted after his friend with a smirk.
‘To the men’s room!’ Austyn shot back.
Damian shook his head, chuckling in amusement.
His childhood had not changed one bit.
