Chapter 42- The love triangle 1

As engrossed in the supernatural as August was, he still noticed some physical stuff, like Sophia, the girl he had a huge crush on. She was a year older, with piercing blue eyes and long, curly brown hair that cascaded down her back like a waterfall. August had admired her from afar for what felt like an eternity, too shy to even muster up a hello. But one day, as he was walking down the hallway, he accidentally bumped into her, spilling his books all over the floor. Sophia helped him pick them up, their fingers touching as they both reached for the same book. August felt a spark of electricity run through his body, and he knew he was in trouble. He was already head over heels, and now he was starting to feel like he was drowning in his own emotions. As they stood up, Sophia smiled at him, her eyes crinkling at the corners. "Hey, August. You okay?" August nodded, feeling like he was going to pass out. "Yeah, yeah. I'm good." Sophia laughed. "You're adorable when you're flustered."
