Chapter 190 - Just Not Getting Easier
The silence was uncomfortable and dragged on for longer than Alex would have liked. He had scanned everywhere on the train but he couldn't see anyone resembling an assailant. Still, his guard was up and he turned towards the one that was glaring at him and Jack evilly.
"You know that we know that you shot us," Alex began, a cheerful smile playing on his lips. "How about you skip playing hide and seek?"
"You must be the lost wolf," the man holding the crossbow began, and he rose to his feet. He was as tall as Alex but he had a more lanky frame.
"That's a terrible name," Alex's smile widened, his eyes narrowly focused on him. "I get the urge to assign names to things but some of these names are just hurtful. Would you like it if I called you the coward sniper?"
