Chapter 4 Randall
On the other end of the phone, Katrina was stunned for a moment, followed by a flurry of packing noises, "Where are you? I'm coming over."
Half an hour later, Katrina rushed to Elaine's place based on the address.
As soon as she entered, she hugged Elaine and looked her up and down, "You've lost so much weight in just a month!"
"Katrina..." finally having someone to confide in after these tough days, Elaine hugged Katrina tightly, tears streaming down her face.
Katrina hugged Elaine back, gently patting her head, "It's okay, Elaine, you still have me. I'm always here for you."
Katrina knew Elaine had always been very strong. No matter how difficult things got, she rarely shed tears. This time, seeing her cry so much, she knew Elaine was truly hurt.
After a while, Elaine finally calmed down, wiping away her tears.
Her heart finally felt a bit less heavy.
"Thank you, Katrina." Elaine let go of Katrina, feeling a bit embarrassed, "I'm okay now."
Seeing Elaine like this, Katrina also felt relieved. She believed that since Elaine said she was okay, she would be okay.
"Alright, why be sad over a man!" Katrina patted Elaine's back, "Tonight, let's go to the bar, have some drinks, and find some men!"
"Huh? I don't want to go..." Elaine subconsciously wanted to refuse.
"You don't have a say in this! After all, the best way to forget an old love is to find a new one!"
Seeing Katrina's enthusiastic look, Elaine couldn't help but smile wryly. She didn't want to refuse her friend's kindness, so she agreed.
Thinking about it, she had been revolving around Wesley for years. It had been a long time since she had a good time with Katrina.
Since she had decided to let go, she might as well spend what little time she had left enjoying herself with Katrina.
Late at night, at MG Bar.
The strong beat of the music, the bustling crowd, and the sound of glasses clinking and uncontrollable screams everywhere made Elaine, who usually liked quiet, feel quite uncomfortable.
"Katrina." Elaine pulled Katrina, who was excited, "Shouldn't we leave..."
"What? What did you say?" Katrina asked loudly.
The strong music drowned out Elaine's voice.
Elaine could only shake her head, indicating that she hadn't said anything.
Katrina often came to the bar. As the queen of the nightlife, she was familiar with everyone passing by and would raise her glass to chat with them.
Occasionally, someone would offer Elaine a drink, but she always shook her head, indicating she didn't drink.
After refusing a few times, no one approached her anymore, and Elaine was happy for the peace.
After sitting for a while, seeing Katrina getting more excited, Elaine had to go to the bathroom to give her ears a break.
Unexpectedly, as she passed by a secluded booth, she was suddenly pulled into someone's arms.
Elaine screamed in fright.
When she looked again, she turned pale with shock. Struggling to get away, she wanted to leave.
The person holding Elaine tightly was none other than Randall, a notorious playboy in New York, known for his perversion.
No woman who had been in his bed had come out unscathed.
Several other young gentlemen were sitting nearby, watching this scene with great interest, none of them wanting to intervene.
"How coincidental." Randall ignored the gazes of others and held Elaine tightly, not letting go. He said, with a hint of flirtation, "Since we parted in college, I've missed you so much, babe. I didn't expect you to come to a nightclub too."
Elaine felt sickened and struggled to push Randall away, but he held her tightly.
"Let go of me!" Elaine glared angrily.
But she didn't expect that her defiant appearance would only excite Randall more, and he wanted to conquer this high mountain flower immediately.
The young gentlemen in red next to him smirked suggestively, "Master Max, this woman not only looks good but also has a fiery temperament. She's perfect!"
"Hey, isn't this the woman who ran away in college?" Suddenly, someone exclaimed in surprise, "I didn't expect to meet her here today!"
Elaine turned her head and saw that the person was one of Randall's followers from college, who had once followed Randall in doing evil deeds. She hadn't expected them to gather together after so many years.
Elaine's face turned even uglier.
It was this person who had deceived her into going to the dance studio and almost been raped by Randall.
"So long since we've seen each other. How can I bear to let you go?" Randall said, inhaling deeply on Elaine's neck, intoxicated, "Baby, you smell so good. I really want to have you right here!"
Elaine felt ashamed and angry, "Randall, this is indecent!"
Randall, in a provocative tone, kissed Elaine forcefully, sneering, "Even if I take you here, no one would dare to catch me!"
"You!" Elaine was furious.
Elaine used to be the campus belle because of her outstanding appearance, and she had countless suitors, including Randall.
But Randall was different from other suitors. He relied on his wealth and power. When his pursuit failed, he colluded with his lackeys to try to force her during the graduation ceremony.
Fortunately, Elaine was clever enough to escape.
Perhaps because the plan failed, Randall felt embarrassed and never looked for Elaine again.
She thought everything had passed, but she hadn't expected to bump into him again at the bar after so many years!
If she had known Randall would be here, Elaine would never have come.
"How about it? After so long, we meet again by chance. This must be fate. Sleep with me tonight." Randall reached out to touch Elaine's chest.
Seizing this opportunity, Elaine pushed Randall away forcefully and jumped off his lap to escape.
Seeing this, the people nearby wanted to stop her, but Randall held them back. "Let her go."
"You're letting go of your prey so easily? Why are you suddenly so kind?" someone teased.
Randall licked his lips, remembering the feeling of kissing Elaine just now, his heart burning with desire. "No rush. I like the feeling of chasing prey and slowly devouring it after it escapes."
The more a woman resisted, the more he wanted to conquer her. Only then could he truly enjoy the pleasure.
Randall stroked his chin and watched Elaine's fleeing figure, a glint of hungry wolf hunting prey in his eyes.
Since he had encountered her again, he wouldn't let this high mountain flower slip away so easily this time.
After escaping from Randall, Elaine saw that Katrina was still in high spirits, so she could only tell her that she wasn't feeling well and hurriedly left.
As she left, she looked around nervously, afraid of encountering that pervert Randall again.
When she finally got home, Elaine breathed a sigh of relief.
Lying on the sofa, Elaine recalled the events of the past two days, feeling extremely exhausted.
Why did all the bad things happen at once?
At this moment, the phone rang, and Elaine reluctantly answered when she saw an unfamiliar number.
After hesitating for a moment, Elaine chose to answer.
On the other end of the phone came a male voice, gentle and sweet, but it made Elaine's face turn pale.
"Baby, guess who I am?"
