Chapter 243: Christmas Card
A while passed, and Elaine finished reading a picture book. Sneaking a glance at Wesley, she noticed he was still engrossed in that foreign language book. But he was nearing the end now. Maybe the content was getting exciting, as Wesley seemed deeply focused.
Elaine's gaze unconsciously drifted to the corner where the bookshelf stood. Suddenly, she felt a bit curious about what Wesley referred to as "a bunch of miscellaneous books."
At least, she thought, she should check out Wesley's cookbooks to see what dishes he could make for her in the future.
Moreover, Wesley had said she could look at any book she wanted. That's what Elaine told herself as she manipulated her wheelchair, trying to move quietly towards the corner of the bookshelf.
