I let out a sarcastic laugh. "Don’t you think it’s strange that you’re asking me that? My husband has a mistress, so who else should I target if not her?"
"Alan, you should be grateful that I don’t love you anymore, so Linda’s existence doesn’t matter to me."
"If I still loved you, I wouldn’t just be mentioning Linda every now and then!"
Alan’s eyes immediately darkened, and he glared at me with a chilling look. "I’ll say it again—Linda is not a mistress!"
I nodded dismissively. "Fine! She’s not a mistress. I’m the one intruding on your relationship with her. Happy now?"
"You..." Alan was about to say something in anger, but I cut him off.
"Enough! Don’t talk to me anymore. You’re annoying. Get out; I need to change my clothes." I waved my hand dismissively as I got out of bed.
Alan shot me one last glare before storming out, slamming the door so hard that I feared it might break.
He’s becoming more and more unstable—so unpredictable. He wasn’t like this before!
