Chapter 51 The Irreconcilable Conflict
From Emily's point of view.
Owen went out, and I was left alone in the room.
The flowers outside the window were blooming beautifully, looking like little elves under the dazzling sunlight.
However, I could only look at the beautiful scenery through the windows.
The guards outside the door prohibited me from leaving the room, or should I say, Owen had limited my freedom. The guards were only carrying out his orders.
I felt like a prisoner.
I felt suffocated after losing my freedom. I could not live like a prisoner forever.
I looked at the two guards again. They were muscular and attractive. I knew I was not strong enough to fight them.
Maybe I could try other ways.
Around an hour later.
Two new guards showed up by the door to take over the previous two guards's shift.
