Mia's POV It wasn't more than fifteen minutes before Serin had arrived at Sol's house. He was without a car or any other physical means of transport, so it was obvious he had run here. I watched as he walked to Francis from the side of the gate. His presence spoke about something dangerous, and even Sol shifted on his feet when he saw Serin. I wondered for a moment if it was a good idea to have called the other vampire, not knowing how he may act in stressful situations. But the relief of having somehow at Sol's side quickly overcame any doubt I had in calling Serin.
