Chapter 363
Elijah was taken aback. "I-I…"
Suddenly, he couldn't answer.
Logan scoffed condescendingly. "You can't answer that question, can you? I'm sure you know very well how you treated Ari. Must you put on this act where you've suddenly had a rude awakening? Mr. Linden, I reckon that the entertainment industry needs someone like you to bring the industry back to life."
Elijah flew into a rage. "Logan, if it's not because I respect who you are, I would've already—"
Logan interjected, "I should be the one saying that, shouldn't I? If not for Ari, do you even think you could be standing here and talking to me?"
The veins on Elijah's forehead were throbbing. However, he couldn't say a word.
He turned toward me. In a slightly pleading tone, he said, "Ari, I'd like to talk with you—"
Logan interrupted him mercilessly, "If you want to talk to her, say your piece right now. Otherwise, see you in court."
I took a quick glance at Logan, then said to Elijah, "Mr. Linden, go ahead."
