Chapter 105
Melina didn't care what others thought of her, walking with her head high and chest out.
She may be poor, but she was not ashamed of it. Frugality was a virtue, and she didn't see a problem with it.
She greeted the butler with a smile. "Hello."
"You're here, Ms. Crawford. Please come in," the butler replied.
She didn't need to be shown the way this time and made her own way to Dante's room.
She noticed the changes as soon as she walked in.
The room was still slightly dim as usual, but there was a huge bookshelf that hadn't been there before.
The bookshelf was full of books and practically looked like a mini library on its own.
Melina glanced down at the three books she brought, suddenly feeling awkward.
When Dante saw her, he spoke up with a pleasant attitude.
"Did you bring those books for me, Ms. Crawford?"
In the end, Melina still handed the books to him, saying in slight embarrassment, "They're just some normal books. You might even already have them on that bookshelf."
