From designing the bag to learning through online tutorials and seeking out an old craftsman to purchase materials and tools, Simon had poured over three months of effort into making it.
He hadn't dared to hope that Josephine would like it. As long as she kept it, even if she tossed it into a corner like trash, he would have been satisfied.
Josephine, pale but smiling gently, said, "I should be the one thanking you. This bag is beautiful, and the color is so easy to match. I really like it. Come on, let's find a spot to sit, have a drink, and chat."
Earlier, she had been ready to leave, even thinking of walking out of this place altogether.
