Seth stumbled backward after the revelation. He clutched his head tightly as he dropped to a crouch. He couldn't tell if the water streaming down his cheeks was the rain or his tears. He couldn't tell if he was trembling from the cold or something else.
All he could feel was the excruciating pain in his chest, so agonizing that he felt suffocated.
