CHAPTER 95: REVELRY
The sun had barely set, casting long shadows over the house. Inside, the atmosphere was far from its usual tense state. Shirley had decided that tonight would be different. The days she had been filled with pack duties and the weight of leadership. She wanted to let loose tonight, and she had just the idea.
Shirley and Dahlia sat in the spacious living room, the crackling fire adding warmth. Dahlia stretched out on the plush sofa, her eyes closed, a look of utter boredom etched on her face.
"I'm so tired of staying in the house all day," Dahlia groaned, breaking the silence.
Shirley glanced at her new friend and smiled. "How about we do something fun? Like a game?"
