CHAPTER 82: COLLATERAL DAMAGE
Drakon's wolves saw the witch, broke away from the two wolf guards and attacked her. The witch stretched her arms out, and a powerful force smashed them back.
"I expected more from you, to be honest," the witch said, her face stretching in an evil grin. She turned to Drakon and nodded. "But I like your raw strength and tenacity. If I wasn't a stronger witch, you'd have broken through my enchantments and levelled the playing field. Your reputation precedes you."
Drakon growled and struggled to his feet. "Only cowards fight in the shadows. Why didn't you show your face if you were so confident in your abilities?"
"I don't see what would change so much even if you were to attack me now," the witch said, her words as challenging. Of course, Drakon took the challenge. He growled and stretched his arms. His nails elongated and became claws, his canines extended, and his eyes shifted. He didn't wholly wolf out, but his wolf was now in partial control of his body.
