CHAPTER 73: SHIRLEY'S ESSENCE
Her senses reeled from the unfamiliarity of her surroundings and the stench. She could not stand the smell of evil emanating from the cave she was thrown into. But at least she wasn't tied up like the last time she was taken.
Her senses were reeling from how fast everything had happened, and she was breathing hard.
But then Dahlia seemed unshaken by the occurrence as she stood tall beside her.
"We need to get out of here," Shirley sounded a bit cliché as she said that, mainly because she had no single plan for how they would escape.
"This whole place is reeking with them," Dahlia replied dryly, "we might both die before we even crawl out of here."
"Why do they want me, though? And who are those people?"
