CHAPTER 62: THE WITCH
Shirley's brow furrowed as she observed the guard panting
"Who is it?" Drakon asked
The guard shifted uncomfortably. "She didn't give her name, Alpha, but she claims it's urgent and related to Shirley."
Drakon's eyes narrowed. The mention of Shirley increased his interest. "Bring her in and station more guards around the conference room in case I need to throw her out.." the guard left.
The door opened again a moment later, and a woman stepped inside. She was tall and slender, with piercing green eyes that seemed to glow with an otherworldly light. Her long, raven-black hair cascaded down her back, adding an aura to the deep burgundy cloak she wore. She moved with an almost unsettling grace, her presence commanding the room.
"Alpha Drakon," she greeted, her voice smooth and melodic. "My name is Dahlia, and I come from the coven of witches."
