"Sir," one of the cell guards bowed as Drakon made his way past him.
"I hear the witch is facing the council soon," the guard continued as he tried to match the Alpha's long, powerful strides.
"You heard right, Malcolm. Now, please get back to your post," Drakon muttered before turning the corner to his destination.
Amandla suddenly bolted up from the floor as she picked up the sweet, subtle smell of sandalwood.

Her eyes began to water, and her heart beat excitedly as she rushed towards the silver bars of her medium-sized cell, careful not to press herself against the dangerous metal.
"Drakon….oh thank goodness you are here!" she cried anxiously, "please tell them to get me out, please."
"Goodness," Drakon began, "is a word that should never fall from your lips, Amandla."
"I know I was terrible to Shirley and you and betrayed the pack….but I'm sorry!"
