By afternoon, Drakon called Zack aside and told him they had to start making their plan. They had two days to the full moon, so sitting back wouldn't do anything. Zack agreed, but he was doubtful. "Where will we get an army big enough to make the odds even in so little time?"
"We don't need to even the odds," Drakon said pensively. "All we need is to bring together people willing to fight these Shadow wolves."
"And where do we get them? The only loyal soldiers we have left are those I sent out to fake a search for you. They're not up to fifty of them."
"Cornelius," Drakon said, "he owes me for sparing his pack, but even if he didn't, he would benefit too in allying with me because the Shadow wolves would come for him too. Whatever Dark Seer is planning will also affect him and his pack."
Zack nodded, finding that Drakon was right. But there was a problem. "Corelius' pack is small, and the full force of his army won't be enough to tilt the balance."
