"I don't make the rules here; I told you the pros and cons of this game before you ventured into it; it's none of my business if you lose; I'm only here to implement the rules." She sounded so calm that it annoyed Shirley.
She just had to rein in her anger since she was the one in need of assistance here.

"There's no 'buts'; you should have left already." She said in a much colder tone.
Shirley was distraught at that point; getting to the third stage without much hassle and then getting disqualified after that had to be one of the worst things she could ever imagine.
