CHAPTER 145: A SMALL DEBT
Shirley walked behind the Dark Seer for what seemed like hours. The Dark Seer’s long strides never wavered, and even though Shirley felt like asking him to stop for rest, she resisted the urge and carried on. Finally, they stopped at a house, and the Dark Seer walked to the front door.
"Come on," the Dark seer said in a tone that didn't betray his tiredness. He opened the door and held it for her to go through.
"Is this the place where the herb grows?" Shirley asked nervously. She didn't see the herb anywhere she looked and wondered if she had traded one monster for another.
"No, this is my house. You can rest here; it's safe. I'll take you to the herbs after you're rested," He said.
Shirley exhaled with relief at finally stopping and decided to trust him. "Thank you," she said with a small smile and walked through the door.
Shirley didn't know what to expect inside, but a clean room was quite a surprise. Shirley jumped a little when he shut the door loudly.
"Take a seat," He sai
