Chapter 218: Trouble Comes Knocking
"Mr. Carson Junior, it doesn't seem right for others to handle this. It should be me, Patrick, dealing with it. How can I trouble you?" Patrick protested, showing his concern.
Henry firmly replied, "My people are not to be bullied by just anyone. This is not a matter for Mr. Trelawney to handle. Let them take care of it."
Patrick's face lit up with gratitude as he bowed to Henry. "Thank you, Mr. Carson."
Henry waved off the formalities and turned to Steven, "Take them to find Paul. Remember, no matter your strength, if someone bullies you, never compromise!"
"Thank you for the advice, Mr. Carson Junior. I will remember," Steven responded earnestly.
With a nod from Henry, Steven led Zane and Beckett away from The Trelawney residence.
Inside Patrick's home, his wife was away, leaving him to serve tea to Henry and Theodore. The atmosphere was cordial, yet charged with the urgency of the unfolding events.
On the ride, Zane queried Beckett on his approach to handling the situation.
