Chapter 154

In the early morning, the first rays of sunlight shone through the window into the room, and the alarm clock sounded right on time. Helen reluctantly got out of bed. She washed up, brushed her teeth, and washed her face. As soon as she stepped out, she coincidentally bumped into Chandler. "Morning," he greeted. "Morning," Helen responded. They walked side by side. "Did you rest well last night?" Chandler asked. Helen smiled sweetly in response. "Not bad." They went downstairs together. Helen looked around but didn't find any trace of Jenson. "Jenson should be the one to send me to school today. Where is he?" Chandler replied, "He drank too much last night. I don't think he's awake yet. I'll take you to school later." Helen had no objections about who took her to school and answered, "Sure." With that, she headed to the dining room to eat her favorite, a simple English breakfast. After breakfast, she got into Chandler's car. On the way, Helen studied her notes very seriously.
