CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY TWO: YOU THINK I’M MAD?
“I mean,” Mark said softly, “that I think you need to see a psychiatrist. Someone who can help you understand what you’re going through and guide you towards healing.”
Tiana’s eyes filled with tears, and she buried her face in her hands. “I don’t want to see a psychiatrist,” she whispered, her voice muffled by her tears. “I don’t want to talk about it.”
But Mark knew that they couldn’t continue like this. Tiana needed help, and he would do whatever it took to get it for her. ”I know it’s scary,” Mark said, his voice filled with empathy. “But I promise you, Tiana, it’s the best thing for you right now. You don’t have to face this alone.”
Reluctantly, Tiana nodded, her shoulders slumping with defeat. “Okay,” she whispered. “I’ll go.”
The next day, Mark made an appointment with a psychiatrist recommended by a friend.
Tiana was hesitant at first, but Mark assured her that he would be there every step of the way.
