Lilith brought me a stack of useless contracts, clearly trying to provoke me.
"Why are you staring at me like that? You're the president now. According to company policy, you should be reviewing this." She held her chin high and looked at me with disdain.
For a moment, she looked smug, as if she had finally gotten the upper hand. Did she think these documents would overwhelm me or cause me some mental torture?
Unfortunately for her, she was wrong.
"This document needs to be revised; the legal terms are incorrect. This one has inadequate project planning and insufficient reasons—replan it.
"And this one has incorrect figures. Get the financial statements from the finance department. Each project and order has specific targets; don't just make things up. And this…"
Over the past three years, I've reviewed countless projects. With just a glance, I could spot the flaws in these cobbled-together documents.
